It was a week ago when my 3-year-old precious granddaughter Amelia (Mya) was taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a severe bacterial infection of undetermined origin. Despite aggressive treatment, Mya got progressively worse over the next few days and was rushed to a regional Children’s’ Hospital. On Thursday morning and into the afternoon, her situation appeared quite dire. Her internal organs appeared to be losing the battle.
Thanks to the team of physicians and nurses, but perhaps most importantly, the prayers from people all over the world (thank you Steve Quayle, Hawk, and too many others to list), she began improving early Thursday evening. This morning, her test results showed very positive, if not dramatic, improvement.
Although she is expected to be in the hospital for several more days, we anticipate a complete recovery. Our family wishes to extend our deepest thanks for your prayers, well-wishes, and emails. We believe that it was YOUR prayers that made the difference. We know we can never repay everyone who prayed for this precious little girl, except to say “thank you” from the bottom of our hearts.
