Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles in partnership with Reliance! Many in the remnant body of Jesus Christ are stuck in a scenario reminiscent of the scene Paul encountered when he went to Athens. The Bible describes the Athenians as basing their existence on hearing or seeing some new thing. Tragically, many believers who understand the nature of the evil in the world have fallen into a subtle trap of endlessly seeking after some new piece of news or research that feeds their fascination. Scratching that itch has in some cases interfered with our service to the Lord and the harvest that He is due in this generation. We must recognize this trap, submit to the Lord, and grow in faith as a means of escape! The scriptures from this message are found in Acts 17, Psalm 12, and Psalm 37.
