, is “peddling fiction.” No matter how many documents, experts, banking institutions and investors are quoted directly which point to aneconomic downturn that will make 2008 look like a walk in the park, those that dare to actually report it are accused of “fear porn.”
The same goes with any bad news that is reported. Speak of the unsustainable debt, terrorists infiltrating the refugees to position themselves to attack the west, the retail apocalypse occurring right now, the trade deficit, the rapid erosion of constitutional liberties, the fact that when economies collapse food shortages occur, or any other “bad” news and the trolls, government paid or otherwise, come out of the woodwork and scream “doom and gloom.”
