Forgive me Father for the inability to forgive! We need the power from God to forgive so that we can rescue our future. The past is done, but we need to make the right choices particularly in resolving conflicts. We need more skills in communication, but ultimately the nature of dealing with conflict and offense comes from the heart. If we don’t forgive then we will be unable to move forward. The closer people are to us the more it hurts when people offend and trespass against us. Any hurt that we allow to persist in our lives will lead to bitterness. Do not cover your hurts today, but deal with them according to scripture. Please press in to God for the faith to forgive one another. If we do not, then we will miss out on the fruit that God wants to bring about through our lives. Jesus help us to forgive as you forgave us!

The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger,
And his glory is to overlook a transgression.
